Squad news:

Leicester City have added four names to their squad as they travel to London Road to face League One Peterborough United.

Robbie Neilson, Jorrin John, Jeffrey Schlupp and Ashley Chambers are all included after missing the trip to the Kassam Stadium.

The only man missing from Saturday's 1-1 draw with Oxford United is Nicky Adams.

Squad: Weale, Logan, Neilson, Berner, Kennedy, Parkes, Hobbs, Morrison, John, King, Wellens, Verma, N'Guessan, Dyer, Oakley, Fryatt, Howard, Campbell, Schlupp, Chambers.

Adams is off to Preston then I guess

This raises an interesting question. Well, interesting to me anyway. What percentage of football fans know nothing about their club beyond the first team?

Guilty.

The mitigating circumstances are that we have no reserve team anyway.
We have been consistently told how brilliant our youngsters are and yet the only one to break through in the last three years is Andy King. So I do not have time to follow the Billy Kees and Carl Pentneys who end up elsewhere anyway.

Since I am fascinated by tactics I would be interested in the backroom staff but we hear little of them. Craig Shakespeare gave the occasional interview but only to discuss specific games while I do not think I ever heard an interview with Steve Walsh.

Paulo's colleagues have come with such little fanfare that having had difficulty finding their names I have forgotten them..

I agree with what Jeff says regarding our youth team.

Our youth players aren't that good, they just play effective football. They are built to be strong, muscular players, but not particularly talented and our youth teams apparently play long ball.

Basically, we just play youth matches to win, rather than to mould and improve the players which is the wrong way to go about it really.

Bruno Oliviera (sp?) is the only backroom member I know who has come in. Swansea fans on another forum reckon that no one has any idea why he is there as he seems to do nothing.

One of the reasons we are so shit, and soon to be even shitter on the international stage.

Agreed. The lack of any good English players under the age of 23 is very worrying indeed.
