Surprisingly good throughout.

Silva in bad need of game time to become match fit.

A very good player in there though, just needs probably 3-4 more games to impose himself.

Nacho has been awesome.

Silva has been the key player for me, he is running the show and dictating play. Class

Fantastic play today, going forward we've been unplayable. I would sub Iborra, he's been a bit dozy and also on a booking. Iheanacho and Silva the standouts. Still not convinced by Barnes at the minute...

I reckon we'll see Huth 2nd half. I think Benny's praps worn the shirt for the last time.

Not too impressed with Barnes tbh. Endeavour is there but little else. Gray's having an off day.... but Nacho & Diabate, well, they're both enjoying it.

Silva and Iborra look class, but you'd kind of hope they would.

Radio commentary shit as ever. They don’t talk about the game nearly enough. And Piper keeps saying “Innyacho”.

Michael Owen is complaining that Iheanacho didn't pass instead of shooting when he scored his first. The man is educationally subnormal.

On BT sport that genius Michael Owen has just made a part of himself.

He said Nacho should have passed the ball rather than shoot when he scored. Savage said if he scored 4/5 in that position should he still pass?

Owen replied that yes he should.

Head scratcher that one.

Villa must have been real shit to concede three against these.

Difference between the two sides is literally class.

We are pressing them all the time and tackling and robbing the ball back, and making fast short give-and-go passes.

Similar to others, have been disappointed in Barnes. And Benny is their best chance of scoring.

Demerai looks like he’s desperate to get some glory here

Huth to come on and then we’ll concede our first goal of the year?

Piper doesn’t do the research. Or at least he hasn’t learned to communicate/bullshit better. Several times I’ve heard him say “looked good on match of the day”. Seems a nice bloke, but punditry doesn’t feel like the right career for him.

On selection the point is this is what a bunch of premier league players/internationals *should* be able to do, but by messing around with the team you are adding to the risk of a Fleetwood-type performance.

I know quite a few on here think Chilwell should always start ahead of Fuchs, but I maintain that Fuchs is the better defender, has an amazing long throw, and as demonstrated today can put in the most amazing crosses as well.

That goal did remind me of a Fuchs-Vardy combination.

I still think the time is now to keep Chilwell in the team and let him carry on improving for the rest of the season
