Not being picky cos it's great to see just one, let alone two who play for us in there, but I bet if this had been voted for in the past month and not before Christmas Andy King wouldn't be in there.

It's quite strange anyhoo, seeing what the top 6 look like now and that there's some clubs not got anyone in who you might expect to have.

Ditto Morgan

Yeah. No Cardiff players when they're 2nd is a bit odd (although I don't know who would be in there). And I'm suprised Gradel isn't in there. Is it really voted for at Christmas? So it only actually takes into account the first half of the season?

Well done to king and Naughton though! :)

Gradel probably isn't in there because no one likes him. Ditto bothroyd, bellamy etc.
Wes Morgan is never in the team of thee year, and neither are Naughton or King IMO.

Bellamy would be in there if he wasn't a Prem player. McNaughton has been his usual brilliant self, but we've had so much chopping and changing that no one person has really stolen the show.
Good team effort I'm pleased to say. Hoops Satdee. C'mon.

Same reason Gareth Bale won the PFA.

The PFA award is for player of the year though i.e. January-December 2010, not for the 2010/11 season and I think Bale is worthy of that given his injuries have only come since the new year.

Plus, Bale's form in the first half of the season was better than any of the others managed in the rest of it. ;)

I think Bale fully deserved his Player of the Year award... but I always think it's weird when someone is nominated for Player and Young Player, yet only wins the senior one.

Andy King next season will be absolutely immense IMO. Given a proper pre-season and another year's experience/strengthening and he really could be a huge player for this club.
