I'm trying to plan a weekend away in May.

Am I right in thinking that if we are succesful and get into the play-off final, that it's being played on Saturday May 22nd rather than on the traditional Bank Holiday weekend?

Yes. Brought forward a week because of the World Cup.

Championship play-off ~ Saturday 22 May
League One play-off ~ Saturday 29 May
League Two play-off ~ Sunday 30 May

Cheers Boc. That will please Mrs SJN ... means she can go away Bank Holiday weekend after all.

Anyone know when the play-off semis will be - I'm off away around then too

The semi dates are never finalised until after the draw and this year the period between the end of the season and the play-off final is even shorter (by two days). If they follow the usual pattern, the first legs will be played over the weekend of 8th/9th May with the second legs on Tues 11th/Wed 12th.

I reckon Preston have a great chance though.

I don't, losing their manager means a new one will have to come in and get to know all of the players, they are also not in the best league position and are going to struggle to be in the top half, I think saying they have a great chance is stupid.

I'm really not sure whether to leave this or not.
