What I hate at the moment is the constant mention of the contract situation that "threatens to derail the promotion bid" in every single newspaper or online article. Has anybody seen anything to suggest it's effecting the players? NO. Are we underperforming? NO.

I suspect that the players know that apart from the richest few clubs in the Prem, that they will never be offered a contract with, that their biggest payday in the Prem is going to be with us, with no debt and with owners who are desperate for the additional marketing/exposure being in the Prem will get us.
