The retained list is out, which completely and utterly ****s this thread up, to be honest. Let's try to get this mess into some kind of order.
Firstly, it's a big, happy, Leicester City "do one" for: Zoumana Bakayogo, Marcel Barrington, Adam Dawson, Paul Gallagher, Kieran Kennedy, Conrad Logan, Herve Pepe-Ngoma, Louis Rowley, Gary Taylor-Fletcher and Matt Upson. Thanks for the memories, chaps, you've been great servants/complete wastes of oxygen (delete as applicable).
We now know how long a couple of the younger players' contracts are - zero - but they've been offered new deals, those being Cain and Elder. They've been bumped up/down from unknown to out of contract.
We all know that Wasilewski has agreed a one year deal, and Knockaert will be off, but until it's announced officially by the club, let's keep them where they are so they can have their due fanfare at the appropriate time.
It seems that Konchesky does have another year left, as reported by the Mercury. He's bumped up to the 2016 list. There won't be an official announcement for this, and it's inconceivable, surely, that it's more than another year, so I'm confident enough to pin this one down.
And I can't bring myself to take Huth (loan) off!
That leaves us with a few anomalies. The following players aren't mentioned on the squad list, but have been on this thread before: Dombrauskis, Yates, Pascanu, Johnson, Templeton, Ndukwu, Brown-Hill, and Arlott-John. These have to go down as unknown contracts/mythical youth teamers.
This batch are on the main squad list, but haven't featured on this thread before: Bailey, Barnes, Kelly, Kipre, Miles, E. Moore, Rowe, and Smith-Varnam.
And this lot are listed as scholars, but haven't featured on this thread before: Anderson,
Bramley, Fura, Knight, Mitchell, Olukanmi, and Percival.
