Wilcox 7
Williams 6
Nalis 9
Scowy 8

Dublin 7

knocked a few off the back four cos the goals looked pretty soft, more of our inability to clear than their attacking threat. Nalis was outstanding, connolly wont have a better chance to open his account. What was with the lack of substitutions until the late panic? With so many older players out there and the way things were going flat after we went 3-0 up you would of thought it was prime time to bring on tiatto to mix things up or give wright or benji a chance to prove themselves. Things are looking up though

One more good thing, keown looks properly up for this season, he seemed really fired up after we won.

Pressman 6 - looked a bit shakey at times
Makin 7 - solid
Dabizas 7 - ditto
Keown 8 - comanding at the back, got us through injury time
Jordan 9 - excellent, just shows what a bit of confidence can do
Scrowcroft 7 - same old
Williams 8 - finally started to get his foot in
Nallis 9 - was everywhere
Willcox 8 - was that jason willcox? he tried his hardest to miss though
Connelly 6 - just not happening for him
Dublin 7 - Battled and worked hard

Tiatto 5 - no time to make a impact though did put him sen about
Blake 3 - why oh why

At 3-0 we were crusing, but we just stopped playing and let them back in it. I feel MA should have made some changes then. ie bring on tiatto and benji/wright cos Dion was looking tired and maybe we wouldn't have had to go through the last 10minutes again. (I was having flashbacks of wolves and boro) We went to deep and invited them on, though I feel you have to give them some credit for the way they still battled on even at 3-0. Although the last 10 was kick it anywhere mixed in with a bit of panic I was pleased with the way we kept battling and getting bodies in front of the ball. 2 wins on the rodders, we'll make it 3 on saturday.

WHO ARE WE!

Makin 7 - solid

Connelly 6 - time running out runs and runs with no end product
Dublin 7 - not a bad game but i still expect more

Good performance 8) :D for 70 minutes, but then what happened :?: :?: Not sure whether it was nerves, fitness, pressure or what but they just seemed to stop. Don't want to be too critical as for those 70 mins, we played our best stuff so far - by some distance.
Onto Burnley on Saturday...............again, it won't be easy - remember last time we were down, they were the 1st to win at the Walkers, and Cotterill won't send a team here to roll over and die....

Yes - was just thinking that myself - with the last 2 results and a win over Burnley we'll be 7 points ahead of where we were in these 3 games last time.... makes up for the defeats to Brighton, Watford and Millwall (7 points last time)

Pressman 6 Fairly solid, but was stuck to the one spot too much for me.
Makin 8 Good Game
Stewart 7.5 A bit of confidence for once, better dead balls.
Dabizas 6 Shakey, gave away too many free kicks doing the same old thing.
Keown 9 Commanded well
Scowcroft 8 Best game for a while and took the goal well
Wilcox 7 Was that really him
Williams 7 Starting to settle and got stuck in
Nalis 8.5 Here, there, everywhere
Dublin 7 Looked better and got back well, but should he have been doing that
Connelly 6.5 Oh how he needs a goal, ran his socks off and some good touches, had better service, but did not help being left alone up front when Dublin tracked back.

Tiatto 5 Whack
Blake 2 Why?

Over all we played very well, a bit worrying about the last 10-15 mins in the way we conceeded two very soft goals. But better to be worrying about 10 mins rather than 80
