The Pieman 7, made some good saves but doesn't instill confidence when he has to come for the ball
Makin 6 Some sloppy passing. Link up play with Scowie is improving
Heath,7 learning from Mr Beautiful, og was a disaster!
Mr Beautiful 7.5 Still has a lot to offer even after 10,000 years of evolution
Tiatto 7 Take them smarties off him. Those e numbes are doing him no good
Scowie 7.5 Class is starting to show through. Would like to see him have a run out up front.
Nalis 7 Looks more like the cartoon tarzan every match. Some nice passing but some gritty work as well
Williams 5 Injured or not jury is STILL out on him
Stewart 7 He can do it, just needs some consistency. Unlucky with the shot.
Dublin 6 Are you really pleased to be playing for your home team or do you have an axe to grind for bygone days?????
Connolly 7 What a difference a goal makes. Had a couple of wayward shots, scores a goal, next few shots are blinders, just unlucky to come across a keeper in top form.
Joey 6.5 Showing signs of getting there.
Benji 6.5 Zero to hero in 2 seasons. Who would've believed the reception he got back then. He's a trier, and improving, and we love him for it.
Overall, we were unlucky to find a keeper in top notch form. Any other team would 've been blown away by half time. Good times they are a coming 8)

Pressman 8.5
Makin 4
Tiatto 7.5
Heath 9 (the own goal was always going to happen he was just the unlucky one that did it)
Keown 9
Scowcroft 3
Stewart 5
Williams 8.5 (our team fell to pieces after he had gone off)
Nalis 8.5
Connolly 6.5
Dublin 0.1 (had to be slightly generous)

Pressman - 5 - mark pushed up a bit because of that great save he made, he seems to be getting more tired the more games he plays so it's good Walks should be back soon. He fumbled with easy balls, and his blushes for having butter fingers were spared by the ref.

Makin - 5 - not really impressed, shocking that he's the only fit RB we have, when he went down for treatment in the first half it was worrying that we had no-one to replace him. Keeps on being relied upon to put in crosses but clearly isn't an attacking kind of player...seemed to slow down a lot towards the end as well.

Heath - 7 - other than the own goal he had a superb game. Not sure if it's Keown's influence or whether he is just generally improving. Was great to see him scoring (in the right end). Still can't pass for toffee but his heading has improved, he gets back to make good last-minute tackles and is looking stronger. Might have been MOTM. Unfortunately it was a very good own goal.

Keown - 7 - solid but not really a MOTM performance, misplaced a few passes and probably needs to be rested next game as he seemed a bit tired.

Tiatto - 7 - passionate, can turn on a bit of skill sometimes and will run the length of the pitch to put in a tackle, had a great shot... put in a couple of dodgy corners though, and also misplaced a few passes.

Scowcroft - 7 - got the knock downs well as usual, had a nice shot on goal, faded in and out of the game a bit though.

Williams - 6 - I'd have put more but I'm becoming really frustrated by his bumbling in front of goal. He seems unable to shoot even when he is one-on-one with the goalie and 6 feet away. Otherwise it was a pretty good performance, our attacking play lost something when he went off..

Nalis - 6 - please stop fouling people. Otherwise his game was very good but he was consistently giving away freekicks, how he escaped without a booking I'll never know.

Stewart - 8 - ok, so I'm a Stewart fan, but most would have to admit he had another good game. Had a couple of good shots on goal, managed to get himself into space a fair bit, ran at their defence and got the crosses in. Seems to work well with Tiatto.

Connolly - 7 - had a great 20-30 minutes in the first half but otherwise faded a bit from the game. Took his goal well and forced some great saves from their 'keeper, but could also have done better with a few of his chances as well. Not afraid to go out looking for the ball but then often isn't where he is needed. Should have stayed further up the pitch in the final minutes, he allowed for them to have more players forward attacking.

Dublin - 5 - still much better in defence than attack, made some good clearances in the second half which is why he's been marked up... also was pretty vocal and taking his captain's role seriously...

Subs:

Gudjonsson - 7 - did well, has definitely improved, managed to head the ball quite a bit for a little guy, can go forward if required but can also sit back in a more defensive role.

Benjamin - 6 - not as good as everyone made out (my father was saying 'he changed the game when he came on') but he held up the ball well and won it a lot as well...still falls on his arse a lot but the difference is that he keeps the ball now when he does so.
