Stewart 7 Looks dangerous down the wing!
Dabizas 6 God everytime he goes anywhere near the ball im worried sick, at lest he sticks up for the team and defended well today
Heath 6 Similar to above
Gillespie 6 didn't see much of the ball but can run at opposition playetrs
Tiatto 7 linked up well with jordy
Gudjonsson 6 he can't shoot but he chased evrything!
Williams 8 Looked fantastic
Connolly 9 Easily the MOTH, he looked so dangerous and was massivly unlucky not to get a 2nd goal!
Scowcroft 6 Great goal, but that was all he did alll match!

De Vries 8.5 looked sharp and skinned some player to come close to scoring, worked hard and impressed
Nalis 5 didn't do much!
Dublin 5 wasn't on for long enought to do anthing drastic

Overall a great team performance, and for the first time in a long time it looked like we were hungry for the win! Proberly the best game so far this season!

Walker - 7 Assured, calm and collective. Two good saves
Maybury - 7 Lively going forward and battled hard.
Dabizas - 6 Sound but possibly jointly at fault for goal with heath.
Heath - 6 As Dabizas. Couple of stupid and needless tackles.
Stewart - 7 Full of confidence. Good assist.
Gillespie - 6 Marked well, struggled to find space but improved at end.
Gudjohnsen - 7 No nonsense, hard working and dogged.
Williams - 8 Added more up front and was all over the pitch.
Tiatto - 7 The guy never stops! Good in defence and attack.
Scowcroft - 7 Treated harshly by ref and marked well but still won his battles.
Connolly - 7 Runs and runs and runs. The guy is possibly the most unlucky striker in the championship. Any of his shots could have gone in.

Subs:
De Vries - 7 Scared the shit out of the reading defence. V.Powerful
Nalis - 6 Made a good tackle but little else in his short time
Dublin - 6 Decent ariel presence

Overall a very encouraging attacking display. Forward link up play was excellent and they were actually picking up each others runs really well. Levein must be praised for his tactics which allowed our wingers more space in the 2nd half and the influx of strikers at the end that won us the match. Reading just couldn't cope. Great support from all the fans. a great day out!

Agreed, I still think De Vries should take his place, he doesn't score regularly for a striker and isn't as lively as Connolly.
