I've said this to a few people recently. I think, although he's not the world's greatest player, he's the type of player we were missing for a while this season. A bit of Premier League nous goes a long way sometimes.

Somebody said to me the other day that Robert Huth has actually played in more premier league matches than leicester have.

Can the statisticians confirm or deny this?

I'm not going to work out the exact figures but City have played about 340 Premier League games whilst Huth has played about 250 Premier League games.
