This isn't a dig at MDV - he does what he does and he's scored a few goals, he's just not got it - the (half-decent) performances before Christmas when we were creating over 25 chances a game were with Elvis and Hume up front. Just a pity that they couldn't finish to save their lives. With MDV in the team we seem to rely on the long ball too much.

Hume and Fryatt up front, with ball to feet please.

Douglas - better performances recently

Stearman - better than maybury atm mainly because of attitude
McCarthy - Should be club captain
Gerrbrand - needs to play more with paddy
Sheehan - run of games, natural left footer and left back

Hammond - his pace can do a job on the flanks
Gudjonsson - ridiculous to drop him just because he is leaving soon
Hughes - if fit
Smith - get the ball to him more often!

Fryatt - confidence should be high after scoring
Hume - i think these two would do well together

no doubt CL will consist with maybury out of position left back, de vries up front so we will se alot of long balls, and feking kisnorbo in the middle.
