Are we doing this this year ? I've noticed some clubs have them on their shirts this weekend, and wondered if we will be doing the same against Sheff Yoo and the Sheep? I'd be surprised if we didn't as everyone seems to do this now.

Also weren't we the first club to do it?

I think it will be against Derby that they are on. I know the helicopter will be landing with the match ball as per previous seasons.

And yes, I think we were the first to do it.

I thought it was a great Saturdays entertainment last year ,i took my granson it was the first time he had seen such a great show , Helocopter.Veterans, and the Pipes and drums.

the year before was entertaining too. Pity the match against - if i remember rightly- northampton, was so abysmally boring.

Hope the poppies will be worn

The kids look up to their sporting heroes & this is a great opportunity to bring home the message of November 11th to the next generation

Unfortunately there's no 'saluting smiley' so i'll use this one :038:

Incidentally, the British Legion, the Air Cadets (mine!) and some Army cadets will be selling poppies before the match, so if you please give generously all the proceeds do go to a good cause.

Thanks.

I didn't realise there was a message, I thought it was just a day of remembrance.

So what is this message? Don't send your children to die for politicians?

That's one message.

The other is that children should be grateful for the sacrifices of others - allowing them the freedom to wave their shoes, carry a combustable flag or smash up a shop window.
