If that's "pure embarrassment" then what is being discovered wanking off to an episode of Two Fat Ladies? :102:

Or admitting to chipping one out on a bus.

That 6-1 was probably the most humiliating performance I have seen as a City fan.
Although it did become quite a comedy of errors. I hope we can get some sort of revenge and the Yak can score a couple.

At least it was away. What about the 5-0 at home to Bolton in the first game of the season when PT was in charge? Now THAT was embarrassing.

We'll scrape a draw through a goal from a defender. Yak not to score and look disinterested, king won't score and people will ask what all the fuss was about, he hasn't done anything in ages and naturally Vassell won't score.

I'm not exactly sure why, but I'm sure you're right.

Well it took me a twenty minute walk to watch that at Filbo. It took me 3hrs, 20 to get Pompey and an afternoon off work. Worst ever for me, driving back from that was as bad as the drive back from Cardiff in May.

4. They stuffed us 6-1 at Fratton & I hope we can at least get 4 at the Walkers to get a little bit of pride back.

It was a great result. If we had lost 2-1 Sousa may have been given more time. Milan went back to a club he had left and his new club looked ridiculous. We were at a televised match and Top saw his King Power Leicester team humiliated.
Leicester fans were divided before the Portsmouth match about whether Sousa should be sacked or given more time. It needed a result so conclusive and so humiliating that it would end argument.

Sousa was still there for the Norwich match three days later but I believe he was already doomed.
Thank you Portsmouth.

Still.... hopefully we'll stick a few past them to get our own back tomorrow.

I dragged one of my mates down to the pub to watch that game before we went out, and just felt embarassed.

I wonder how many of the same players will be in the starting lineup tomorrow though. 2, maybe 3?

To sort of answer my own question, here was the starting lineup from that game:

Logan
Neilson, Morrison, Vitor, Berner
Oakley, King, Abe, Dyer
Waghorn, Howard

So probably 3 of them starting tomorrow (Vitor, King and Abe). Very different looking team now.

At the time of that match I was living in Nottingham and playing for a team over there (Sneinton, now called Carlton Town). We got back into the changing room after the match to be told the score and I was duly ridiculed by my entire Forest supporting team, happy days :icon_sad:

bloody hell, that really was a dire line-up. the fact that the only decent defender got sent off explains why we got spanked.

I'll be attending the game with my father today. It's been a while since I've gone to a game with someone..

Prediction: City 2-1 Portsmouth

Absolutely W*se's debut - awful game. And that, as it turned out, was my last ever at Filber Street :icon_cry::icon_cry:

I have always had my doubts about Vitor although I am told how good he was away at Scunthorpe. Hopefully I will be shown I am wrong this afternoon. Vitor's sending off was for an appalling "tackle" in which he threw a player in a dangerous position to the floor. Even someone as biased as myself thought that the red card and the goal against us that came from the free kick was justice.
