After hearing about the BOOING AT A FRIENDLY.......
I thought i'd try starting a thread in which city fans can only post positive comments about the club - spread a little positivity you know, seeing as it's monday? As opposed to the normal route where a thread gets opened i.e 'wouldn't it be great if we played 3-5-2 with Hume in the hole' - which then gets shot down by all and sundry and turned into a eulogy by wisened old heads on how 'it'll never work - we may as well pack up and go home'
This thread is just for positive comments, constructive comments about the side and/or ridiculously optimistic predictions about the future. Of course if negative comments are funny - they might just be admissable, but i'll leave that up to the moderators (should they wish to have a positive only thread that is)
try it........Who knows......we might just like it.
it'll be like Aldous Huxley's Brave New World, only without the cloned babies, Nazi style genetic hierarchy and generally enforced drug taking..erm..bits.

i don't think so! i think that would count as negative...!

it's early days. change takes time,
eventually we'll have Melton in here saying how nice the new kit is, and how refreshing it is to see a manager be so open with the fans.

Well if you read the previous threads about the new kit you'd already know that I like it.

I do like Managers that are open with the fans, I'm just not naive enough to actually believe that they are being "open" just because they say stuff. As far as any of us are aware his openness could be scripted bullshit.

So ma, so good. then.

Kicking off the positivity..
i think that for a team who avoided relegation on the penultimate game of the season, to have pulled in 12 new players, spent 3million + quid (with more to come) and have the prospect of a full house first game of the season is a great turn around.

We've got a new ridiculously rich owner who says he'll take us back to Premiership within three years, which he in fact did with Pompey. Is it only me finding that positive?

nah that's positive enough for me Swede.

are you anywhere near Elskilstuna by the way? a lovely part of the world. lived there for about 6 months a few years back.

near Vasteros who have quite a poor footy team.
