It has, Sven's said it in the Swedish press. Tord Grip is on our payroll as a scout.

Link?

It surely would have been in the local press if true. Even obscure scouts and youth coaches being hired seems to makes a page on the OS and in the mockery.

Googled "Tord Grip Leicester City" and it just came up with a bunch of articles around 4th/5th Oct when Sven was hired, some saying Sven would like Tord Grip on his backroom staff and some saying he wouldn't be drawn in on whether Tord Grip would join him or not, but nothing on Grip actually ever joining or currently being employed by the club.

"Grip looking player
Eriksson has obviously brought with him Tord Grip to Leicester - he now has a more focused role of the Scout while he consults Svennis by telephone.
There will be frequent travel around the European Football Europe until the transfer window opens in January. In last week visited Tord Grip countries like Denmark, Switzerland and Germany.
- Yes, he has begun to travel around Europe and watch football. Right now he is probably back in Sweden, he travels around and look at the players. This, I think he was comfortable with, "said Eriksson."

Like others I am sad to see Chris Powell go. It is easy to forget that he was signed as a player as well as a coach and clearly was thinking in terms of management. . Now he has completed the transition.
This might be a way of tempting some other big signing who has reached the veteran stage and is thinking of management. This might attract the likes of Gary Neville. This I hasten to say is just an example and I have no information.

Heaven forbid! Hmm, Kyle Naughton or Gary Neville, let me think...

Gary Neville is an obnoxious weasel of a man in the Dennis Wise mold
Replacing a class geezer like Powel with a grade A tosser like G Neville would bring a ton of negative karma that we dont need at LCFC right now

Let's hope David's hunch doesn't materialize

He'll be interviewed on the Moan-in on RL in the next few mins

Doesn't look like a hunch so much as a hypothetical example. I wouldn't worry about it.
