I’ve created a template in word. It lists the contents of each package we sell. This template will be saved once for each of the 1000+ packages. There are some printing issues so I’ve been asked to change the template into a different format. I suggested publisher.

Somebody suggested Powerpoint ?!?!

Before I launch into a full scale put down can somebody please explain? I’m sure that Powerpoint is purely for presentations/visuals. I’m trying to convert the word file across and everything is so big and flashy and clearly not supposed to be used for this type of thing.

My school uses PowerPoint to write our reports. It's horrendous.

Why not a real content manager? It seems to me that you are trying get software to do something that it is not designed to do. You want a Content Management System.

If you're going to be using any MS Office app, it sounds like you need to be looking at Access tbh
