Not looking forward to this whatever....also being on Sky so everyone can see how shite we are...A good performance is long over due! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way of what fun it is to see Leicester win away!! (sometime in 2012)

We are hopeless on Boxing Day...I know, I usually come home from the States around christmas and I dread the boxing day game.

My favorite was the Watford 4-4 game!

Was the Bolton 2-2 debacle on boxing day too?

Not always. I was at Anfield in 1984:icon_redf Liverpool 1 Leicester 2 . Bloody fantastic it was, Lineker and Smith i think:icon_bigg

One of the best away days I ever had was at Moulinuex when we beat McGoos lot 3:2 and sang that on the way out.

I think Bolton away was a few days after Xmas - still ranks up there as the worst away trip ever.

We do have a horrible Boxing Day record, but I remember TC scoring away at Sheff Wed for a 1-0 win - thing that was Boxing Day.

was it not " its not god its only andy peake" with the 2nd?

Im looking forward to this game!!

Im telling you now; we WILL win !!!

Unless you know something that the rest of us don't, I can't see any reason for your optimism.

I realise that anything can happen in a football match - but I expect that anything on Saturday to involve a match of few goals - and us to get fewer
than them.

Should they get an early goal then I think it could be a miserable late afternoon for long suffering travelling fans.

That was a 1980 game at Filbert Street if i am correct:icon_bigg And i was there for that one as well
was that the one he scored the 30yrder past grobs ?? i was there for that one, thought it was later than 1980,or do i have to finally admit im old:icon_cry:

It was bloody cold that day!!!

For what it's worth I think your team selection is spot on, exactly who I'd pick! Chambers instead of the hapless Stearman. Sheehan at left back which gives us the benefit of his dead ball play. Hayes gives some genuine width rather than Ollie's bizzare selections on Saturday. Hume to add a bit of spice and attack in midfield. John for height and Fryatt who can hopefully convert if given some good service for a change.

Cheers.

Yep and then they ended Liverpools 3 year, 85 match unbeaten home run at Anfield. We also lost to Exeter in a cup replay just before the Anfied game, and then went on to get relegated.
