Pre-season Friendlies.

I thought I'd start this so that we can keep track of all of the pre-season games.

The first to be announced is a trip to Oxford United on July 19th. Ok 7-45 pm.

The article claims that this is our first visit to the Kassam but I'm pretty sure I've been there at least once for a friendly match.

There are ICC matches against Celtic, PSG and Barcelona and then the Community Shield match vs Man Utd.

We did a under Sousa I think. I remember listening to it on the radio and DJ Campbell played and possibly scored and I had a very good feeling that signing him was finally going to pay off.......

I was there too, met up with some friends who live near Oxford. Lovely pub crawl after the game I recall.

We played friendlies there in 2002, 2005 and 2010.

In 2005 we won 3-1 with goals from de Vries and Wilcox(2)

In 2-10 we drew 1-1 with DJ Campbell getting our goal.

I'm trying to persuade an Arizona-based rugby-obsessed friend from New Zealand to go with me. I went with him to see the rugby sevens in Vegas a few years ago, even though I have no interest in rugby, so he owes me one. We didn't see the final as we were still out celebrating the semi finals the day before. You know what they say about what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas - well, that was true of some of my clothes, etc. Messy weekend...

Not much of a poster but I bit the bullet and got tickets to the game. Supposedly a bunch NY Foxes are going to the game that I met during the Eveton game.
