This afternoon's training session was brought forward to 11 this morning with minimal notice. We've missed it.I sincerely hope that the club never again get involved with the useless ****ers who have arranged this tournament.
 
I was lucky enough to check back with the SFT (Stockholm Farce Tournament) website earlier this morning.
Took me by surprise, but luckily, I'm just one metro stop away from Söderstadion, so I made it there in time for the training session.

There was no announcement, nothing via LCFC website, no indication during yesterday's game.
Simply no communication at all.
I talked to a Swedish Hammarby IF fan who was also present to take photos and he said they'd changed it on the website last evening.

But that's been the red thread with this so-called Sportbusiness.se sports marketing company co-organizing this "event".
They are very, very unprofessional. Ok, some things were out of their hands (Brescia pulling out last-minute, officially), but they just don't seem to care about the rest.
All they seem to care about is the extra money on the more expensive match tickets.

I seriously hope they're never hired again for another sports event, because their behaviour towards fans so far has got nothing to do with either sports or management.

Unprofessional is mild for this bunch. I understand that some of the Spanish fans who had pre-booked tickets turned up at the nominated hotel to collect them and the hotel knew nothing about it.

The Swedish fans too are disappointed with the way things are happening. Tickets for the game at over £21 each are the same as Hammarby would charge for a league match and quite a bit more than would normally be charged at Uppsala. Both the fans and the club at Uppsala thought there would have been a bigger crowd if the tickets had been priced more appropriately; the fans I spoke to at Söderstadion said they fely they were being ripped off by the prices there.
 
Oh, and the Coaching Symposium that was supposed to take place on Sunday has also been called off.

I talked to this Ehrling guy from Sportsbusiness.se on the phone yesterday - it's also no longer mentioned on the Farce Tournament website.

On a sidenote, can anyone else see that we have an unfair advantage over all other teams participating?
We're the only side playing three games in total...!!! It's not hard to win on a total-amount-of-goals-scored rule this way!!! LOL

I expect the trophy to be made out of nothing but solid Gold!!!

Yep, that's what happened to me, too. According to Tomas Ehrling, the tickets should've been deposited at First Hotel Amaranten for the fans to pick up.
Thing is, the concierges knew nothing about it!!!

Ehrling then goes on to tell me on the phone that this information was wrong and that he didn't write the original message - even though it has his signature on it!! He said he was sick for one and a half weeks... Then why is somebody else writing messages in his name and why are mails to sportsbusiness.se being ignored for weeks. Surely if you're on a sickie you make sure the mails sent to your account are being forwarded to a work colleague...???

I just don't get it.

I hope that the club will be made aware of all the problems that fans have had and resolve never to do business with this bunch again.
 
Does anyone know what I'm missing on www.lcfcdirect.com? The Real Madrid game isn't anywhere to be seen, despite claims to the contrary on the OS. Of course, I would ring them, but the only phone number I can find on the OS is wrong as well :icon_roll
