Every Cup competition has its giant-killers and the Prediction Cup is no exception with Macky, Dorset, G F P, four king ace, tees, in_oz, Jeff and Naughty all making it to the 2nd round. Doggie_muz, OldGit, andy15 and spion will have to fight their way through a play-off if they want to join their Chumps League colleagues Scarborough, Fan, lad, fludie and ch4mbo in the next round with the big boys. Meanwhile the non-appearance of 80% of Group Three means that one lucky team will be getting a free passage into the 3rd round.

Congratulations to in_oz, the stage's highest scorer - closely followed by lad, tees and Scarborough. pds is the unlucky one; going out with a score that would have seen him through in all except one of the other groups - but that's the fortune of the Cup, I suppose.

I'm a bit confused Bob, sorry if I have missed something.

If we have played one game, how come we don't have any points, and how come some of us have an asterisk by our name?
