I'm in thought. Without counting, I'd say as things stand there are about seven people who won't get off the starting blocks, including last season's champion. That's almost half the entrants. Do I run a smaller league, or do I can the whole thing?

How about changing the defaults to 12 say which can ce changed later.

I think you can change all your defaults any time.

You can change them whenever you like. I said 20 so as to make sure you'd have at least ten playing most weeks. Changing it to 12 would defeat the whole point.
Maybe people are on holiday and aren't aware of the deadline. Give them a bit longer.
