Should be a close game - but I calculate that there could still be an 18-point difference between the two teams.

Difficult precedent to set. Would only be fair if both teams were able to change their scores and it might not always be possible for that to be the case.

Additionally it would make it difficult to refuse people who wanted to change for other reasons, e.g. to make themselves unbeatable if they are already winning.
