Not rocket science.

Midfield is old & slow. Without Rodri to screen it they have their arses hanging out every time they turn the ball over. Even at their best they've always been exposed by teams who counter attack & are fast in transition. Thats how we did well against them back in the glorious times. It's why Spurs have always had a hold over them.

But El Genius still persists with the same old shit. Definition of madness & all that.

Plus their transfer business has been dog recently. No midfielders who can make their system work, Palmer sold to Chelsea which now looks like the **** up of all **** ups. Alvarez gone so no back up or support for the viking. Not quite at our dismal level obviously but with their unlimited funds it shouldn't happen.

Basically Pepball is entirely dependent on having the best players in the world in those key positions. Which he usually has had at Barca, Bayern & Man City.

If you don't, it's counterable by any team or manager with some nous.

I just hate all the big teams and have done for a little while. Back in the day I used to not mind a fair few of them. I quite liked the Arsenal team of the late 90’s / early 00’s…I even dare say I didn’t mind the Man Utd team of the 90’s. I used to want them all to do well in Europe and cheered a lot when OGS scored the winning goal against Bayern Munich.

Now I hate the ****ing lot of them, don’t want any of them to win the league, and want them all to get battered in Europe.
