Looks like Potter has kept them on a leash as regards length of contract and could be appointed today.
Potter did similar to us I'm sure and that's why we told him to do one and ended up with Cooperman

Which, in hindsight, was a ****ing ludicrous decision

I'm still utterly bewildered by this.

How something so out of order was treated as nothing. How he was able to inspire Wolves to results and crucial points while the PL sat on their arses. How he has ended up only missing one PL game. And now this. It's beyond me.

As a former referee, I always knew when a high profile manager or player had gone off on one as you always say it on the pitches the Sunday after. It's behaviour that is driving people out of the grassroots game, though somewhat ironically this kind of abuse at officials at that level often leads to bans measured in weeks and months rather than matches - how the FA can dare cite 'Respect' after this is beyond me

How is this supposed to look to kids?

I kicked him in the bollocks but said sorry and offered him a Homer Massage, 3 game ban reduced to 1?

A new manager with a new style, so a big overhaul, and they only give him half a season. Crazy.

“...[He] is much bigger than me and I was surrounded by a large number of people, mainly ITFC personnel, so I remember feeling quite threatened at the time..."

"Although the commission said they found Cunha’s version of events to be “implausible”, arguing there had been no sign of provocation from the Ipswich staff member in available video footage..."

Bloody ridiculous outcome.

I'd love to know what sort of conversation we had with Potter.

Scene 1

GP "Thanks very much for these conversations Khun Top, I think we're about there. I'd love to be the next Leicester manager. One thing that remains though is the structure of the club itself. I'm sorry to say that I've heard some less than impressive things about this and would like to suggest some changes which I think would really benefit the club and help me to make us a force in the PL once again".

KT "Okay Graham. Thanks for that. I need to speak to colleagues and will get back to you ASAP".

Scene 2

KT "Get back up now Jon, there is no need for that every single time I enter your office. Anyway, I've spoken to Potter and like him. He looks like Beaker from the Muppets and I reckon that will go down well with my mates in Bangkok. He's the man for us I reckon. He only has one issue and wants to suggest some changes to the club structure which will affect your role. You know I'll always look after you Jon, but maybe it is time to move into a different role and let us modernise as Potter suggests?"

JR "My Emperious Leader, I am sorry to have to inform you that I've been given some troubling information today about Mr. Potter. My people intercepted a call he made after speaking to you where he claimed to have 'pulled the wool over the eyes of that dopey Thai wanker'. I apogise Sir for using such appalling words but I feel it is my duty to protect you".

Scene 3

KT "Hi, is that you Mr. Potter. Khun Top here. We've decided to go in a different direction. Goodbye".

Were ****ed, by the way.
In many ways, yep. Probably down, last season was but a brief reprieve. A showcase for Enzo's job hunt (and didn't he do well). Whelan warned us when we dropped, the era has ended and it's going to be a number of years before we're steady again. And even then, if it's with the same management then we're still arguably ****ed.

I've resolved myself to it tbh. Almost looking forward to it. Escape the Prem air, different football. Not sure I'll fork out for FoxesHub again but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
