It's always the same isn't it?
It's beyond a joke really. Tennis, Rugby, Cricket have all managed to introduce video tech years or even decades before football & all have made it work for the betterment of the sport.
Football does it & it's a ****ing shambles.
The problem mostly lies with the ****ing appalling standard of refereeing in England. It's been god awful for years now & the exact same ****wits that cock it up on the field are the ones in charge of VAR.
There's literally no point having video evidence if you're going to leave the interpretation of it in the hands of useless ****s.
Video should only be used to decide whether balls are over the goal line or out of play. Not to give offsides against someone's toenail.
I would have said also use it for disciplinary stuff like rugby does but after that abortion the other day they can **** that off too.

So Saudi clubs aren’t subject to FFP, but clubs that are subject to FFP are fully entitled to benefit by selling players to them at massively inflated prices… seems legit with no scope for abuse at all.

I feel like this lad could’ve had his pick of destinations in the big leagues. It’s sad so many players are choosing to play park football in empty stadia for big wads of blood money ahead of playing real football. I honestly hope it ****s up all their careers. At least they’ll be able to buy themselves a country each at the end of it.
