I'd have had McLintock as Manager myself. One of the finest Managers we ever had.

With Taylor, Mad dog and Holloway as his assistants? ;)

Sorry i don't understand, Swansea are irrelevant to our play off aspirations, surely we want Blackpool to fail to win and us to win, then it is job done. :102:

Sounds good to me. I don't care about swansea because i think we can f3ck em if we get drawn them. We're more free-scoring than we have been all season, and Dany can always come on and score in the 89th minute... as he has against them twice this season.

I see no reason to be afraid of anyone who can potentially get into the playoff places this year. We beat cardiff 1-0, forest 3-0, swansea 2-1 twice and blackpool 2-1 twice. Anyone who is worried about who's in there is being daft.

if we win and swansea lose we are there also, if we draw and swansea lose, we would practically be there because of our superior goal difference, so swansea's match is very important

My mate is a season ticketholder at Deepdale - he reckons on their forums the fans want them to throw the game so Cesspool as they're locally known can't get in the play-offs!!!

What? You must be mad!

Yes. I checked back for a tongue-in-cheek marker and found one. You are mad!

No, they're not. It is easier for Blackpool to overhaul Swansea. So if we don't get the points that we need, it is important that Swansea don't either.

It's now virtually impossible for us to be drawn against Swansea

I presume you have booked your transport down to Wembley already, ignoring the fact that Cardiff have beaten us twice, F!"£$t thrashed us at their place and our League results against Swansea would have seen us defeated in a two-legged tie with away goals counting double. If anybody, simply on the basis of us having done the double over Blackpool (the team least likely to be in the play-offs), discounts the threat from any challenge at this important stage of the season I would say that it is he is "being daft".

Blackpool have the easier games. I can see them getting 6 points.

Really is up to us to get a win out of our last two.

Middlesborough might only be playing for post match Pizzas but they are still a tough side to beat.

I thought that away goals didnt count in the play offs?

Take a point? Why? I want and expect THREE points.

I would also take a point.

Regardless of the fact that an away point at Preston isn't a bad result, it would mean that a loss by Swansea in one of their last two would essentially put us in the playoffs regardless of our result vs. Boro and even if Blackpool win both of their games.

If we get a point on Saturday, then the worst position we can be in going into the last game (ignoring VERY big wins for swans / big defeats for us) is that any 1 of three scenarios would be enough: (a) us winning, (b) swansea losing or (c) blackpool not winning.

Simples...unless I'm wrong.

If we win, we are there irrespective of what anyone else does.

local game for me (i live in Blackpool), there will be cheers from both sets of fans if Peterboro win, i think we will win 1-2 Waggy and sub Fryatt same team (apart from Vaughan for Howard and Matt on bench)
