Hmm. Who would people pick out of Cotterill and Davies? I'd probably go for Davies.

TBH Leigh, either would be a great appointment, both are highly rated up here in the North West, and both have performed minor miracles at their relative clubs. The board should be congratualted on having such ambitious targets.

Why??? Surely that's their job - it's not like a binman gets a round of applause for emptying a bin is it.

Why is that then Joe, easy choice would be to appoint a cheap option like Reid etc, but the board havent they have gone for two of the best managers outside the premiership, if we are quick to slag the board off we should be equally quick to praise.

All I'm saying mate is that they should look for the best manager, they get paid enough.

have we made an approach for newell? out of the names mentioned, he would be the one i would prefer, second would be cotteril, and after than... anyone but reid!
