I hope so that would wipe the smug feckin smile off all my in laws faces, who continually take the piss out of our demise and the sacred PHG, what a kick in the fcuking nuts to lose your manager to a side in the bottom 3, obviously I would act with pure dignity and not gloat....honest.

Feck that, give em hell :) :icon_roll

Thought I would use the same recycled gag but in a slightly different format, no point in reinventing the wheel.

Glad you had a good un.

It has really come to life in the last 24 - 48 hours on here, and from the sound of it the best is yet to come.

So is Lennon involved somewhere? I am lost.

From Bob Hazell's cryptic messages, I would say he is, quite where he would fit in with Cotterill or Davies is the difficult one unless the pair are a smokescreen, or Lenny is being lined up as part of the backroom team / player. I dont know but it sounds like the next 24 hours are going to be very interesting.

Well I spoke to Billy Davies, personally, last night at the Championship forum AND he had only good things to say about City even though he was only there a short time. He thought we were a wonderfull club and he seemed genuine. Apparantly it was something to do with his wife why he had to go back to Scotland, I don't think she could settle in Leicester.

But he had spoke all night about PNE and the setup there and the players he has and the great run they are on and possibility of play-offs, or better that I can not see him giving it all up for a team facing relegation to League 1. His only downside he gave insight into was that he was aware that PNE have to sell players to survive.

BUT you never know. I would have thought our best chance for him would be after the end of season when PNE have not gone up. Trouble is we need someone NOW

motown have you done a thread on last night? how did go? anyone else from here go ?

Me and my son were the only City fans and aint had time to post a separate report as had this morning off from work to sign some paperwork at home so not long been able to log on etc.

Phil Brown was meant to be there. Not long after we got there it was announced he had been summoned to see his chairman so would not be attending. :081: This cheered up the Derby fans(single figures I would guess) who were probably ready to give him a torrid time.

Apparently Billy Davies has been on sky sports and said he is very flattered to be linked with the Leicester City post but has a very important job to do at Preston. www.pne-online.co.uk/forum - on a post somewhere in there.

Oh well,

i didn't think he would leave Preston anyway!

Me neither.. although they seem to think on there he could be interested, apparently the one thing he always pulls them down on is the size of the club and hes always saying they are small etc. Still, I read around here he has stated he'd be interested in being Rangers manager one day.. which would suggest even if he did come he'd just be almost like a stop gap manager =/ I'd still like to see Mike Newell here.
