Hi lads. Put in my application with SAFC for away tickets for the Leicester match on 13/11/04 but they are unable to confirm prices?

Just wondered why?Is it because if we bring a decent following the price of tickets will be increased? is this normal practice?

Anyway looking forward to visiting the Walkers stadium and rest assured if Wilko is still there he will get a 'reception' from SAFC fans

Be coming down by train. Any recommendations for safe places to drink, Any wetherspoons pubs near station?

Cheers Lads

Hi Steve,

Lots of places to drink - posh place next to the station on the right, otherwise head in town and mooch about, lots of drink stops, just head right under the underpass from the station and follow the road down past the hotel and turn left in to the centre....

I'm sure knowing Tim Davies' lot they're still thinking how much they can nick of you Mackems, knowing you'll come down in your thousands they may be trying to allocate you more room and charge you for it...mercenary lot as they are!

Do you want Wilco back? You can have him if you like, we'll take Piper back please!

Good luck, enjoy the game.

Steve, the game has been catagorised grade 'b', and this applies to all areas of the ground including away fans.

Your ticket prices will be as follows, and you should receive an allocation of just under 3,200

Adults: £22.00
Young Adults (16yrs - 21yrs) and Senior Citizens (60+): £20.00
Juvenile (12yrs - 15yrs): £17.00
Under 12's: £14.00

This link should help you with directions and advice on pubs etc:

It will be nice to see a decent following down here, only West Ham, Sheff Utd and Ipswich have brought a decent crowd.

Thanks for response lads. If we manage to sell 3,200 tickets it wil be a first this season. Having said that we must have played at least 5 midwek away games so far.

Mind the walkers stadium is obviously a new ground for us Mackems so i confidently predict this will be our best turn out so far.

As for Mattie Piper, my personal opinion is that he's finished. he's had 4 ops on his knee and has never had a decent run in our team.i hope im wrong.

And wilko im afraid is past it and to old fashioned.

cheers

Forest are a bit further than that ace.....

Steve, were you at Filbo when Collymore got the hat-trick? I think you may have witnessed one of the best LCFC sides/performances if so, we were amazing that day I thought, I went with a Mackem, who conceeded we were the best team he saw you lot play that year... Heskey left not long after, then O'Neil, then Lennon.............bloody hell (wipes a tear from the eye) they were the days were them..

Makes me sad to think what we were, and what we could of been if we hadn't of appointed PT

Oh my god FoxFan, me too...me too. In respect of Taylor, Adams was a hero, to be fair, he was anyway....probably saved our club.

I think that particular team although short lived for many resons was the finest in my lifetime of following city.

If only Celtic had been a bit more successful at that time and Collymore could have hedl it together we really had something there.

I have supported the club actively for 20 years, and there was no finer line-up IMO during that time and I saw Lineker.

Same timeframe for me, that team had real potential to get us regularly in to Europe IMO. Especially if MoN had been given the £20m Taylor was the following the season.
