Well Steve i was at that game.If it was 1984 then it would also be the last time i went to Sunderland.I Wonder if any of our forum remembers the game at roker park.I certainly do because we won 4-0!!!.
To be fair we did have a certain Gary Lineker playing for us then,and also weeks earlier i travelled up to see us beat Newcastle 4-1. The geordie game was a midweek match ,and only about 100 city fans saw what for me was one of our greatest away performancies.

Not clear on the match details,but a vivid memory was that early in the 2nd half with Leicester 3-0up i got a full blast of the famous "roker roar" tremendous. Do they still do it at the stadium of light?
