Webbo Ive got loads.

Everything has seemed alot slower for some time - I post from several different locations and they have all slowed down noticably.

also today posting seems to have gon to the wall - when i try and submit a post or PM i just get a blank screen (the colour of the forum background) IE 6 says the page has loaded but I have no way of knowing if my post has gone through or not.

Can you take a copy of hte error message and email/pm it to me?

It could be a cookie problem - have you tried deleting the site's cookie, then logging in again?

i get that on the odd occasion, but just use the 'back' button on my browser & submit again, prob sorted

your problems could be down to the amount of porn you'v been d/loading

Try running Adaware - Download it (free) from http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.html?part=69274&subj=dlpage&tag=button and see what nasties it finds.

Deleting the cookie seems to have done the trick, thanks for your help

but don't run at the same time, 1 after another.

I am posting from work at the moment - to be honest I couldnt give a crap whats on here. My fireawall etc is pretty tight at home so I would be suprised if these things were on there but I will give them a go.

A firewall won't stop you from getting infected by this kind of stuff, it usually comes attached to a program you download deliberately, so your firewall won't stop it.
The firewall might then stop the spyware from contacting the outside world, but it will still slow down your PC.
