You doubt it because of what? Seems entirely possible that his appearances as a referee, assistant referee and fourth official could easily outnumber the Premier League appearances of someone like Roy Keane.

I doubt it because I just think it is one of those things where you are expected to kick yourself for not thinking laterally and to accept what you are told without question. If you look at the record of any ref on the prem list, you will see that he will have also reffed in other divisions - about 1 'other' game to every three in the prem (and therefore could have been assistant or 4th official on those dates). I'd just like to see some real evidence.
