I think we reached an all time low yesterday for prostituting our club to generate a little revenue.

Sponsoring the "time added on" message in my opinion is laughable, and to announce it with "This message is sponsored by......." is embarrassing to say the least.

I know a better way to make this club better of financially......Stay in this league.

yeh I noticed it too. wasnt the best, very american. Surprised the birch hasnt had to come out with a sandwch board on yet saying this team readout is sponsored by tampax or someink.

i was personally annoyed when they added the extra A+L signs on the shirt/shorts.

its what you get when you only have gusiness men running the club. all they care about is making money. it's reflected in many ways, like the kits being on one-year cycles.

unfortunately however football is a business and we are gonna need all the money we can get if we do go down.

Do you really think, in all honestly. The money that was paid for that commercial goes anywhere near enough to buying players. If so, why is the marketing team so superior to those at lets say, Chelsea or Arsenal for example, that they couldn't come up with this "ingenious" idea themselves. If you come back with the reply "They don't need the money" then I will point you to the lower league clubs and ask the same question.

Then why have a match ball sponsor, why have a shirt sponsor, why have advertising, why have the ground sponsored.
If you want tack go into Chelsea and Arsenal shops and see the crap on sale there and people buy it which kicks your argument into touch because they make a profit from the sales etc.
And anyway what has this got to do with the footballing side of things.
