Do you really think, in all honestly. The money that was paid for that commercial goes anywhere near enough to buying players. If so, why is the marketing team so superior to those at lets say, Chelsea or Arsenal for example, that they couldn't come up with this "ingenious" idea themselves. If you come back with the reply "They don't need the money" then I will point you to the lower league clubs and ask the same question.

I really don't see how it matter what other clubs are doing, all that matters is what were doing. I don't care where (within the club) the money goes, every single penny counts.

I think we reached an all time low yesterday for prostituting our club to generate a little revenue.

Sponsoring the "time added on" message in my opinion is laughable, and to announce it with "This message is sponsored by......." is embarrassing to say the least.

I know a better way to make this club better of financially......Stay in this league.

AIUI this is a Football League sponsorship and we can do nothing about it. All clubs are now supposed to announce it in exactly the way it was announced yesterday.

Don't misunderstand me. I think it is crap and a prostitution of the game, rather than just our club. That makes it worse not better!

Burnley also had some 2 bit company sponsoring the time added on. Very funny IMO, well it was funny until we started doing it. No doubt in Div 1 we'll see a lto more ridiculous sponsorships, such as the yellow card sponsored by Henry Walker Pork Pies and the cross bar sponsored by the Orange Tree, etc.
