My season ticket arrived today. This has always promised nineteen days when there is something special. Those nineteen days will be especially valuable this season as after fifty years as a supporter I fear it will be my last as a season ticket holder. Last season I struggled badly when leaving night games. So even more than usual I want Leicester to do well.

Last season I was belatedly converted to the Puel Out camp. I now hope that he will still be manager at the end of the season as that will mean we have had a successful season. I don't know who made the decision to keep Puel although I would guess that Jon Rudkin and Andrew Neville will have advised Top and Vichai.

Two things are certain. Both Mr Rudkin and Mr Neville have far more experience of football than I have. Both will know far more about Puel's work behind the scenes than me - what is he like on the training ground, does he have the support of the players.

The owners have decided that Claude Puel will remain manager of Leicester Cityh. As a Leicester City supporters I wish him success. Puel in

If he is still our manager at the end of the season, it will have been a good season.
However, I'm sure some will still fecking moan.
Like when George Graham went to Spurs, I don't believe that Claude has ever been fully accepted, nor will he.
Personally I'm looking forward to this season.
Young Maddison looks a good buy.
Evans is an assured centre half
Not forgetting Ricardo bombing down the right.
Yes, there are reasons to be optimistic for the forthcoming season :)

First of all if he's still in charge by Christmas I'll be ****ing gobsmacked let alone season end. If he does make it I'll be the first to put my hands up and say fair play to him.

Realistically he should be under pressure after some of the awful performances from January on. If we start poorly I think he will struggle massively to keep his job. And I think that's fair.

Man U (A)
Wolves
Southampton (A)
Liverpool

How many points does he need from that then? 4? Even if we failed to pick up 1 they'd likely give him:

Huddersfield
Newcastle (A)

Like it or not he's probably got to win 2 and draw 2 out of that, right? so 8 points through 6 games?

Just so I know when people think it's OK for me to actually start worrying.

I swear to ****ing God I hope he does well. I really do. But he's on a short leash and deservedly so.

Yep. I said this on here the other day. He needs a decent start.

If he makes it to the end of October it will be an absolute feckin' miracle

Same feeling I had when that complete bastard Taylor was here, immediately prior to that godawful Bolton game

He's a duffer and, deep deep down inside, we all know it

First game, 6-0. Sacked by midnight. I’m an optimist.
Mourinho’s ManU never go for 6. It’ll be 1-0 but will still feel like 6-0. Maybe. Or maybe not. What do I know? Nothing, and I’m not even from Barcelona.

Based on the players we're missing and the pre season wevew had, I think we'll be bottom three after 10 games.

I fully expect him sacked by Christmas.

The only chance he's got is if he reverts to the style that actually saw us successfull under him for a few months.

It’s like you’ve never even heard of Leicester City Football Club.

How many games will you give him?
Be lucky if he gets 45 minutes!

I genuinely hope that you enjoy going to the games this season David. All the best mate, have a good one.

I feel that we are totally ****ed this season. An absolute piss weak duffer in charge of a squad consisting of Jamie Vardy, a couple of Prem winning veterans and a sea of absolute dog dirt.

Pin this to your wall and wave it in my face if something different happens, we will finish between 14th and 18th.

Puel will be in charge the whole season and we'll finish 7th. My prediction based on instinct. Which could be a load of tosh - and we finish much lower or who knows, maybe higher. Enjoy the season David - stay well. Blue Army!

With all due respect mate, that’s bollocks. Nobody will moan if we’ve had a good season.

Nice to see so many give him a fresh chance.
Almost like they want him to fail.
WHY?
Again, respectfully, that is bollocks. Nobody wants him to fail because nobody wants the club they support to fail.

I don't want to see him fail, I just think he will.

Where will 12 points from the 6 games put us?

The few fans who kept faith with him last season insisted the problem wasn't the system but the players who couldn't play it. I had expected more changes if that was actually true. There s still time left to make more but I can't see the few signings we made making a significant difference especially as we've also lost Mahrez.
