He could be, but he's still managing a Championship team, not a Premiership team.

That's what he's good at - getting teams promoted,
not a bad skill - worth multi millions.

He's not going to be given a fashionable Premier League team at this stage of his career.

Peripheral issues about his communication style and abrasive personality get in the way of some people realising that he is seriously formidable at Championship level.

Is that a statement of intent or are you an insider?

I am not an "insider" or have I been inside her .I've been in cider a few times. However i am aware he was selected for German national team ( not sure if youth or u-21s ) but was told he couldnt go as the youth team have big cup game coming up. So he is "in the squad" to travel today as some sort of appeasement. So perhaps the term 'on the bench' is a tad previous.

I see game is listed on myp2p so hopefully will be able to watch in USA. Last week couldn't pick up the feed of the Coventry game. Anyone know which country is showing the game ?

Match is live on TV4 sport over here. They have a live feed but I don't know if it can be accessed from the UK. If not myp2p or one of the other stream sites certainly will have it. Happy days...

Reckon we're in for an absolute towsing here - two or three goals, or possibly more

Don't look for a feed, and under no circumstances listen to those two complete cocks on Radio Twat

Play Mario Kart with your kids, go shopping with the missus, have a five knuckle shuffle watching internet porn (or, in alex's case, your Westlife DVD)

Better still come and watch Co'ville Town in the quarter final of the FA Vase

Do whatever it takes to forget that the game is even taking place. We can then get on with the rest of the season on Tuesday night.

Well thanks a bunch homeywomeypants, my first game this season and you've certainly made me look forward to this even more now...

I'm going to. I will be in Stoney Cove down at 30m totally oblivious to anything that's happening at QPR.

:018:

On the game, I share some of homey's pessimism - I'd happily take a draw. I'd also happily take 3 points out of this and Norwich.

Thanks for that Homey....I was really looking forward to it as well.

Don't listen to me, what do I feckin' know - I predicted Cardiff would do us two nil

Oh, hold on a minute........

Logic suggests you're right.

In terms of home advantage; form; physical strength - they have it all going for them.

I can't think of much of a case for us getting anything out of it. We're down to hoping that this is just one of those days when logic is overturned.

Don't mention 'German' and 'appeasement' in the same paragraph it'll upset the Neville Chamberlain types.

Im thinking Herr Schlup could get on and score a brace a la Joe Waters.

They also say that it's looking set to be a sell-out so Fludie might have to toss to see who of him and his "mate?" actually see the game

I understand his mate has dropped out. Fludee is now looking for just one match ticket, but has a train ticket for sale.
