Blaming the ref is stupid... Both teams had 4 yellows and a red each, and to be honest it didn't sound like there were any terrible decisions really.

What else did CL have to say? I missed his comments.



Anyone hear what that Anita was just saying? Our fans in L1 were chanting "you're just a town full of bombers" to the QPR fans. Is L1 where all the chavs sit?

Exciting, fierce match today, but once again extremely disappointed at the end of the game!

Maybury and McCarthy gonna be suspended for Brighton and Derby respectively, which means at least the next 2 games our defence has to change around again.

Elvis first goal is the only good thing to come from today. Shame for him that we couldn't at least get a point from it.

McCarthy being suspended for next match is one of only a few positives to come out of todays match.
Another dismal display by most today. McCarthy is possibly the worst defender I have seen in the last few years at this club.
Playing Johannson at left back was such a poor decision, when we have 3 fit(i think) left backs in our squad.
I will continue backing Levein as I believe he has done some good for our club but he really needs to decide on his team and stick with it.All this chopping and changing is not helping.
Kisnorbo has looked poor in the brief appearences so far and I believe Williams will be back in on Tuesday night.

McCarthy did well last season though didn't he? I think I only saw him once, but from what people said I thought he'd sounded good.

I expect Gerrbrand to take his place though when fit, which he should be by the Derby game next Saturday, which according to RL is the game McCarthy will be fit for.

There was some bloke from MK who was slagging off CL on the radio.

I didn't think McCarthy was that bad at all, the worst thing he did was that dodgy backpass which in my opinion was Douglas's fault as well as he's supposed to communicate with his defence! Johansson at LB was awful, he's not got the pace or the attacking ability. Kisnorbo was rubbish, I know he played out of position for most of the time he was on the pitch, but he was still rubbish! de Vries missed so many chances. Hume had a few good touches but was knocked out of the game mostly by their big CBs, still hoping that he'll be a good player for us but we need to stop the hoofing to unleash his potential... Hughes is not a winger! And Stearman looked good when he came on.

Oh, and for those who didn't go (and I know you can't blame a result on a ref) the referee was appalling. He missed handballs, fouls, gave free kicks the wrong way, stop-started the game all the time and worst of all continuously missed their cheating. (some bias there of course )

Leigh, I agree, I was at the match and whilst the ref was right to send Maybury off, he was nothing short of a joke the rest of the game, QPR feigned injury, time wasted and cheated there way through the whole game.

It is not an excuse for losing, but it was diabolical and if the ref had been brave enough to punish QPR more often then it would no doubt have had a bearing.

And he was not equally as bad for both teams, we were the ones who suffered a damn sight more than Rangers.
