Quick Reply option?

I am a member of the forums at www.majorgeeks.com and the software they use appears the same as here. they have a quick reply feature which enables you to type a responce in a window at the bottom of the thread. is this available here?

it only saves a few seconds, but its a feature i appreciate.

The feature is available, and it was turned on when I first installed the software, but lots of people reported having problems with it so I turned it off.

There have been several upgrades to the software since then so I might turn it on again to see if it's working better now.

There are features that are disabled, but nothing particularly interesting, mainly technical and admin type stuff.

Some features that are disabled include the ability to send an email to a member (disabled as an anti-spam measure), the user reputation feature (more info here: http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/main/reputation_intro (disabled because it's likely to be abused), plus lots of minor settings that change the way the forum is displayed.


There are also lots of things that can be changed in the user control panel, such as the editor interface, thread subscription, PM notification options, view images/avatars/sigs etc.
