8-4 full time, just got home, the bloke on trial was an ATT called ''sergio ceasar'' if i caught his name correctly. scored the first but didnt do too much more.

goals by

McKay
Odhiambo
sappelton (3)
(1 other that i couldnt hear who scored because of their rubbish sound system)
 
Defence was a shambles. Thought Hellings had a good game, and if tonight's performance is anything to go by, Billy McKay would struggle to get into the Quorn team!

The mongs (aka ChavTalk) were out in full force tonight, with their bloody toilet rolls FFS. So many thickos there today - one thought that number 5 was "our new Bulgarian", someone else said Sappleton was 16 years old, another said that we were playing Chesterfield first game of the season.

OK, I take it City Fan was accurate with his description then, otherwise you wouldn't have known who he was talking about.

I'm kinda guessing you don't know how old City Fan is.

I knew exactly the reaction they'd get on this forum, as I read it a lot. So I thought I'd come and have a look.

Just annoys me a little the repuation people my age seem to build because we don't act like a different section of our support.

I'm guessing he's like 19?

What else is like 19? other than 19?

Are you saying you thought they were behaving like idiots so you thought you'd see what people were saying about them?

Or are you saying they were behaving perfectly normally but the boring, complaining old folk on Talking Balls would have some serious bees in their bonnets because they weren't sat down behaving and applauding when relevant?

They weren't behaving like idiots, but I'm sure the definition varies depending on who's asking. I just thought they'd get a sour review on here because they were seen drinking beer and the like. I know the representation of the young city fan is not really favoured on this forum.

Not at all, but judging by City Fan's comments he was linking all the stupidness together. I can assure you none of the lads I was standing with made any of those comments. :icon_lol:

I can no longer drink due to medical reasons.
