Think it was in the programme, cos those dirty agents take a load, plus signing on fees etc. Sir Les at say 10,000 per week would cost around 600k for the season, so its not that unrealistic.

Actually, I think you're right.

I heard our wage bill should be around 9-10 Million for next season, so it stands to reason. But even so, the way he conveyed that information made us all believe that we had that much to spend!!!

It's all making sense now!!! Wage bill was £16.5 in div one last time, when we went up we were supposed to have about an extra £4mil on wages for micky to spend. Which make a grand total of around £20mil.

And if you say, he said it is half last years budget. That means the £10mil includes ALL retained players wages. So in theory we will have pretty much f all to spend on players and wages!!
