I was in Birmingham once and one of those black fellas held a door open for me as he was going into the Bullring. It was shocking, I was just walking past and had no intention of going in there. He was basically just using it as an opportunity to show off his Louis Farrakhan T-shirt and to try to shame me into walking through the door into what he regarded as a temple of consumerist Western culture probably.
