One big thing about Saturday was Rab pulled off the save to give us all three points. I have said this before and I do not blame him for all of our losses, but if he managed to pull off a few more saves (which IMO he should have done) from the few chances other teams have had down here we would have picked up a few more points.
The game was not one of the classics for skill, but the boys did us and RK proud, never gave up and got stuck in.
Our inexperience did seem more obvious on Saturday for me, not sure why considering they ground out the win, but when you actually look at the team out there on Saturday it was like a youth team.
Wes 17, Stearman 18, Fryatt 19. Not sure of the average age out there, but the oldest out field player (I think was) Nils 28, then Joey/Maybury 26, it is good having a young side, but I think this also has alot to do with our league position.
