Not me Guv! My main gripe is that there is no one lined up, and all the usual suspects are a complete and utter load of tossers.

Have to agree would have thought they would have left it till the had something in place, or at least fobbed us off with some shite story that have something in line instead of they have nothing but an empty managers chair

To be fair, even though they've said publicly that they don't have anyone in the picture, that could be because they know that the vacancy might interest of couple of managers in this league at smaller clubs (but higher placed, for now) who have City connections and are somewhat unsettled at their current clubs after public fall-outs with their boards....

Such as, for example, Steve Cotterill, or Mike Newell....

If that's what they're thinking, then fair play to them - keep your gob shut for a couple of days and see if one of them walks.

John Mcgovern was on RL this morning. He was asked about the impact of Forest dropping in to the third tier. It made grim listening. Falling gates, falling revenues, cutting the wage bill, losing players, teams raising their game against you in your fantastic stadium, there is no positive slant on it. We must avoid it at all costs.

My reaction to the sacking is that I am not happpy that it happened, Its not what I wanted to happen, but came to the conclusion that we had to do something to try and change, to try and break the spiral downwards. Its a shit thing to lose your job when you feel you are doing your best, I know this from painful experience.

Lets look forward.

TD was on Heart 106 football phone in last night, said he had received around 30 applications from managers who were both in current posts and unemployed.... :icon_roll

Anyway, listeneing to Radio Leicester and radio 5, some guy came on the phone-ins on both shows and suggested that the new City manager should be MON's assistants, John Robertson and (I can't remember the name of the other guy). I think this seems a good idea. They will have an inkling of MON's tactics and after all they were the ones on the training groundin MON's regime. It could work.

If anyone has TD's ear, tell him!

Greece won the european cup and they won by playing boring MON style football, Who was captain. Theo an ex-MON player. Take it a stage further and get Theo Zakarakis back. he has proved his worth on and off the pitch

Look - we all know the statistics. Levein was taking the club on a nose dive journey. The longer he went on, the worse the results became.

I'm glad that we can believe that he brought in a lot of good players who the next manager will have the benefit. To be honest I think we are kidding ourselves. Levein rightly got rid of a lot of old rubbish - and brought in lower paid and mainly pretty ordinary players to replace them. Albeit they should be good enough to avoid relegation.

Am i being unfair? - ask yourself why no one comes in these days for any Leicester City players since our only proven goal scorer was sold - a good business deal yes - provided you were prepared to throw away the season.

In putting this matter right - first thing was Levein had to go. I'm certain that it was the last resort for the board that would dearly have like to have kept in - but once the fans turned then the board felt the pressure.

I disagree with your praise for conneley. He was shite, with or without him we would be in the trouble, so CL selling him had no effect what so ever. Our problems started long before conneley left, because our last decient goal scorer was Dickov that is when the trouble started
