What do you reckon is the best approach to this issue, just go away for the weekend and avoid all televisions completely or just be very careful not to turn on Dave that weekend?
I could put up a warning sign over the TV I suppose.

Neither.

I like Red Dwarf. Not bothered if I miss it, but I enjoy it when I watch it.

I loved it when it first came out, but I discovered alcohol and nightclubs around the same time. One of them had to give.

I'd be hard pressed to think of somebody more offensive and punchable.
I'm also still a bit pissed off at being misled to believe that Red Dwarf is a comedy, when it patently isn't. 12 minutes of my life that I'll never get back.

Overall, I quite enjoyed it.

The first episode was difficult to get into. No real comedy, but the 2nd and 3rd episodes picked up. And with the prospect of seasons 9 and 10 to be made, things are looking good.
