I know nothing about boxing (other than I actually rather dislike the idea) but I spent the first game of this season in his company and sat next to him during the game and he came across as a genuine, quite down to earth guy and a real LCFC fan.

Nishioka was just to clever and very good fighting on the back foot. The later rounds especially showed why he is a champion. I thought Rendall might dominate towards the end but as much as Nishioka was breathing heavily at times, he didn't actually seem to tire that much. Perhaps Munroe will get a chance against Steve Molitor, I think that would be an interesting fight.

Fair play to Munroe, his opponent was just too good but he hung in there and showed excellent spirit & determination.

The nicest bloke I ever trained with. As an amateur, he always had time for younger kids (and older, less experienced or less talented boxers), giving pointers on technique, helping with groundwork, watching every fight. One of the most obsessively fit people I've ever met as well, could go for hours. I'll always be a Rendall Munroe fan because of the way he's always been with me and my brothers.
