Apart from Walker, it is a very young, inexperienced squad, at least the youngsters are being given a decent opportunity to develop in the reserves, hopefully a few will seize these opportunities and force their way into the first team picture over the coming weeks.

IMO Stearman, Dawson and Porter are the stars of the future, Stearman and Porter are both England youth internationals, whilst Dawson has forced his way into the Eire U21's.

We have also got a whole host of exciting young prospects in the first team squad at present : Dublin, Makin, Keown, Elliott, Blake, Nalis, Wilcox, Gemmill and Pressman....watch out for all these massive potential.

As any club the fans have great expectations for their young acemedy players and leicester are no execption. We have had players which everyone raves about but very few make it 85% leave for lower divisions so in a way they do make it. A player who has recently only left as CL told him he didnt want him was Tomi Petrescu who was very young he was a raving talent in finland and it was reported man u wanted him but after all that hype nothing happening. The few which are playing high quality football for large teams include Julian Joachim, matt piper, emile heskey but i am pleased to say more young and home grown players are breaking in to the first team line up dicky stearman, stevie dawson, jordan stewart, matty heath to name a few.

i was just rambling! i think you were right on both counts i was trying to say that if he was so good then he wouldnt have to have gone back to school as he would have made it playing professional football earning more money than the entire population of luxemburg in one week

It was certainly said that he was going to college but hasn't he been on trial with a German club since he left us?

I think the 'concentrating on studies' thing was one of the usual excuses given publicly which has nothing to do with any real reasons. My guess is he got fed up waiting for a first team chance.

Thats a very dangerous attitude Stevo - I cant imagine us winning many games with only Danny Taitto on the playing staff :!:
