Watch 'Still Game' streets ahead of any other Sitcom IMO,but I agree,Rising Damp being a particular favourite of mine

The still game new years special was cracking. I loved in. When the guy went for a piss, that had me in stitches.

I agree. 'I'm Alan Partridge' is the best thing on TV I've ever seen in my life and I think it always will be. I mean sure, some people like it more than others but it amazes me that anyone could ever think it was just 'crap'.

i think still game is ok, but nothing special and definitely not as good as say peep show or even red dwarf. i even think IT crowd is better and thats says something... however, the office is the greatest comedy ever.

In principal I agree with this, but sometimes them becoming successful coincides with them climbing up their own arse, which I think Gervais maybe a tad guilty of.

He isn't the same bloke that used to present "The Ricky Gervais Show" a few years ago, he's changed, but nothing out of the ordinary for his social status though

Still think he's a talented geezer though, him and Merchant bring the best out of each other.

I'd class The Office & Partridge as "a number of years ago". Extras is a good shout, but I'd put Stil Game up there with it. Never really got into Peep Show

Not keen on David Mitchell,seems funnier being himself on Game Shows etc.I think Ross Noble is quite funny

i'll agree with you there, mitchell and webb look was lacklustre at its best efforts. one good sketch from the whole series is pretty much all i saw
