More changes are on the way and there has already been another addition.

Young prospect Ricky Sapleton, a 17-year-old striker from QPR, is joining City with Allen beating off interest from Premiership sides Liverpool and Middlesbrough to acquire him.

Allen said: "He chose to join up here and we are delighted.

"It also shows that we are not just looking short term, but to the future."

Another of our big lads up front Ricky has been in good form in front of goal this season but he can also play wide or in central midfield

If he's looking to the youth team setup he could do worse than the lads we've already got.

I've been following this kid for a little while, apparently his is a very tricky striker with some pace. I personally think he should be in the national junior setup, he's only 17 but we should get him while england still think of him as a club prospect.

The 17-year-old is available after being released by Queens Park Rangers earlier this season.

However, the Jamaica-born forward is not short of options with a host of clubs understood to be keen on securing his signature.

Sappleton has already trained with Liverpool, but now Boro are taking a close look at his talents.

Barry Silkman is the biggest Bullshitter in the World,do not take any notice of a word the man says

Any chance he was involved in that massive fight agaist the china national team, ;)

Re: Ricky Stapleton

How is it poaching if we have been in contact with QPR and asked to speak to the player?

It's not poaching as it's above board but it seems Mr.Stappleton's YTS contract had ran out. We offered professional terms before QPR, possible having a word before his contract ran out.

I understand we have done the same with some lad from Villa and also Lewis McGugan of Forest.
