perhaps the more the club treats the fans as a consumer, the more the fans will start treating the club as a commercial product. i think we will all agree that if that were to happen it wouldn't be great for lcfc...
totally different point...standing in grounds - in the US then at almost every sporting event i've ever been to you always get announcers / big screens urging the fans to "stand up and make some noise" etc... is this unsafe? i don't think so. how many injuries occur? not many - what with medical bills in the US if there were i don't think they would carry on doing it. nothing to do with the club here, just the attitude in general of high-up people on standing in grounds.
