i too am a football manager fan (bet i get slated now ) but you have to make the judgement between fiction and reality . The best reason i can give for not signing someone just because they are good on fm, is because jordan stewart plays left wing for england on that game :roll:

Although I agree on your Stone Roses posts, I actually prefer The Second Coming. Both incredible although I always support the underdog and for such an album to be slated in the music press made me love it even more.

Second Coming was a great album also, and probably ahead of its time. it was totally different to the conventional music at the time, its better apreciated now as music has changed, but as a genre defining album The Stone Roses is it..... so many great songs. Second Coming was just a big change of direction but still had some great tracks on it.

personally, i think "metallica suck big ****in dicks" is an appaling album and a crime against all the good work theyd done in the 80s. who can forget master of puppets?? or ride the lightning?? now THATS metal, none of this poncified RAWK shit

and for the record (meep) the ACTUAL best 3 albums ever are....

1 Bloodsugarsexmagik - chilis
2 Songs In The Key Of Life - Stevie Wonder
3 Dig Your Own Hole - Chemical Brothers

I've got Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning as well, I think they are very good, in fact they'd probably be number 4 and 5 but The Black Album is not going against thier 80's stuff.
